EVERYONE SHOULD BE A KINDLE USER!!
Hey everyone, if you've got the kindle app. downloaded on your computer, phone, or tablet you can download The Scarlet Letter for free. It's free because it's one of their classics they give away (lucky for us American Literature students). Also if you don't have a kindle application seriously look into it. I have loved the last 3 days because I've been able to easily read this book without the bulk of all the pages of the anthology. I can also change the font size and background color. These options have been helpful when I need a change of scenery but need to continue reading the book. Kindle is truly a blessing. Last pod I was able to download Uncle Tom’s Cabin and I had an easier time reading it as well. Best part is that it's FREE. If you're interested in any of these features and don't have a Kindle application. Go to Amazon.com and log in (if you don't have an account, as a student it's worth it to have one), look for the Kindle section on the left hand column, click into that and look for a way to get Kindle on your PC. All you have to do is register your computer to the site and as soon as you have it downloaded.. search for The Scarlet Letter and download it. You'll be reading the book in less than 1 minute (guaranteed by amazon haha). I hope you've all been enlightened :) have a wonderful day!

Great post! I avoid reading the anthology as much as possible. I know. I am the instructor here and I should be cheerful about this book (the Norton, not SL) but come on, people! This is the exact same book (just about) that I used when I was in ENG 230 and 231 at Indiana State many moons ago andthe same one my daughter used at ISU ten years ago. Very popular, serves the purpose, but too cumbersome to use, plus eyestrain, and all the other stuff. Download SL for free and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI have a Nook which I love, but my iPad has a Kindle app which I added.
